||Renovation of a mansion
||Under construction - 2016
Complete renovation of a vast mansion from the 1950ies, overlooking one of the many valleys within the topography of Brussels.
The one family house consists of four storeys: a basement as a full storey, another two full storeys and one full storey under a hipped roof, each of
approx. 200 m2. The villa is a hybrid: the outside sticks formally to the conservative Belgian post-war architecture, the inside of the building offers partly a layout of
modern series of rooms.
The interiour changes that are undertaken accentuate many of the original details made of solid wood, such as the staircase, door frames and parquet together with stone floors. At the client's specific request, more documentation is not available.
